Us
Sponsorship of programs or events, as well as naming opportunities is
a great way to show you care. It is an ideal opportunity to support us
while, at the same time, strengthen your community profile. Marketing
plans are developed for all programs and events offered by Girl Scouts
of the Fox River Area, Inc. Through a variety of promotional vehicles
we reach large audiences. Individuals, businesses and foundations have
the privilege of receiving recognition and benefits for underwriting support.

Girl Scout Gold Award Reception
Earning the Girl Scout Gold Award symbolizes a special commitment to a
girl's self, community, world, and her future. It represents accomplishments
in the areas of leadership, community service, career planning, and personal
development. The award and celebration are important in highlighting the
skills learned by the girls through their rigorous growth in earning all
of the prerequisites. The reception will be held May 4, 2008.
Girl Scout Campout Gala
Can you imagine reliving the best of your childhood camping experiences
- without tents, latrines or sleeping bags? Nearly 150 guests enjoyed
a fun-filled evening of camp-themed activities, gourmet camp-inspired
cuisine, lively entertainment and s'mores with an elegant twist ... all
while having fun and supporting Girl Scouts, too!
Brick by Brick Program
Commemorate or pay tribute to a special person or event in your life and
enjoy recognition in one of our paved courtyards. Bricks can be purchased
for your family, business, friends, or loved one. Cost is $50 (two-line
brick) or $100 (four-line brick). The brick will be placed in one of two
outdoor courtyards at the Girl Scout Program Center. A
Brick by Brick form can be printed and mailed to: Girl Scouts of the

Matching Gift Program
Many companies not only make it a practice to support community organizations
through corporate donations but also by encouraging their employees to
give. Ask your employer to match your donation to Girl Scouts of the Fox
River Area, Inc. through its Employer's Matching Gift Program.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Your employer may have a program to match contributions to not-for-profit
organizations. Many individuals and families increase their contributions
each year through matching gifts. Ask your employer's human resources
department for more information and a copy of the appropriate form. Complete

Planned Giving Gift
Planned gifts include deferred gifts, bequests, life insurance, charitable
trusts, pooled income funds, charitable gift annuities and outright gifts
of cash, stock or securities. Planned gifts ensure that the Girl Scout
program is available to future generations of girls so that they may develop
the skills they need to reach their full potential. Donors who make a
planned gift to Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area, Inc. may be eligible
for membership in the council's Juliette Gordon Low Society (link to blue
