The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest achievement
for girls ages 14 to 17 in Girl Scouting. For many, the leadership
skills, organizational skills, and sense of community and commitment
that come from "going for the Gold" set the foundation
for a lifetime of active citizenship.
The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest achievement
for girls ages 11 to 14 in Girl Scouting. It symbolizes her accomplishments
in Girl Scouting and community activities as she matures and works
to better her life and the lives of others.
