Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area, Inc. collaborates with numerous organizations, businesses and agencies for programs, badge resources and events. These collaborations present exciting opportunities for sharing of resources, knowledge and expertise in the spirit of the mission of Girl Scouting.

The Friends Forever Girls™Friendship Kit
Discover the rewards of friendship and giving back to the community with The Friends Forever Girls™ Friendship Kit. Each participant receives: The First Day of Forever hardcover book, Butterfly Promise bookmark, Friendship necklace kit (craft to be made) and postcard to be filled with well wishes to selected organization or recipient.

Women Soar - You Soar
Held during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the World's Greatest Aviation Celebration, Women Soar - You Soar held on July 28 and 29 will introduce girls in grades 9-12 to exciting career opportunities in aviation. The event also highlights educational resources and inspires girls to explore their potential. Registration for this two-day event is $50 (scholarships are available) and includes meals and student lodging at the nearby University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Better Business Bureau (BBB)
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a non-profit organization committed to bringing consumers to trustworthy businesses. The BBB does this by researching businesses, processing complaints against businesses, and providing consumer education. The BBB has an extensive collection of consumer and business education materials and tips. These can be useful to Girl Scouts and troop leaders in meeting the requirements for several Girl Scout badges, such as Business Wise, Money Sense, Consumer Power, Car Care, and more! Milwaukee Bucks salute to Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts and their friends and families are invited to cheer on the Milwaukee Bucks! Arrive early to watch both teams warm up and receive a special welcome from a Bucks player or coach. Art and Culture

Youth Theater Workshop

American Indian Center (AIC)
The AIC, a program of Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin, is a non-profit organization to serve Native Americans living in and around the Fox Valley. It offers information, referrals, education, advocacy, and cultural enrichment activities. Special classes are designed to meet the needs of various troops. Hearthstone Historic House Museum
Troops can participate in a 2.5 hour session and complete one of nine different Brownie Try-Its and choose out of ten Junior Badges opportunities to earn. All materials, professional instruction and tour of the award winning museum are included. Girls will complete ALL requirements to gain their new badge. Cost varies based on the try-it or badge. The Fire
Come to the Valley's newest, interactive art studio on College Ave. in Appleton! The Fire offers opportunities in glazing and firing pottery, creating mosaics, and doing glass fusing. Learn the four basics of pottery firing. Practice teamwork through the art of mosaicing: small pieces, when placed together, create a beautiful work of art or tell a story. You paint, they fire. Pen Pal Program
Learn about girls from all over the United States! We'll match your troop with girls just like you and provide you with their troop information so you can learn all about them and where they live. Request forms are available at the Girl Scout Program Center.

Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve
Enjoy over eight miles of trails for skiing or hiking and several environmental related programs throughout the year. Call 920-731-6041.

Navarino Nature Center

Paper Discovery Center
Have fun with hands-on, educational opportunities to learn about the art, science and history behind papermaking and recycling. Programs on recycling and hand papermaking can earn you a fun patch! Call Jenny at 920-380-7491.

Heckrodt Wetlands Preserve
Participate in nature and environment related badge programs that run 60 - 90 minutes and are led by a naturalist or qualified volunteer. Cost $2/person (no charge for leaders or chaperones). Call 920-720-9349.

Aerospace Badge Program
The Women in Aviation Oshkosh Chapter, an organization that promotes careers in the exciting and growing field of aviation, want to help you earn your Aerospace Badge. Chapter members provide guided activities, educational materials from kite building to an International Space Station Packet, aviation tours, and more. Gander Mountain
Gander Mountain in Appleton offers badge opportunities and other programs to enhance your knowledge of camping, fishing, hunting, and outdoor living. A 10 percent discount is offered for troops purchasing camping or outdoor equipment. Call 920-731-9400.
