Afterschool Fun

Afterschool Programs are held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. (times and locations
are flexible) and are designed to fit the age of your troop. Cost
ranges from free to $5/girl. Contact the Girl Scout Program Center
at least one month prior to set up date.

Health and Wellness
Afterschool Cooking
Review the food pyramid, discuss healthy nutritional foods, and talk about
kitchen safety. A chef will help you create a meal of your own. Take home
the recipe! Earn the Princess ZIP Patch!

Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (S.T.E.M.)
Geocaching Adventure
UW-Oshkosh, Oshkosh
Find your place on the planet by using a global position system (GPS).
Participate in a cache hunt to learn how to use the GPS units and create
your own geocache and share them with others around the world. Program
runs 1.5-2 hours. Register at 920-424-0287 or sciout@uwosh.edu.

Afterschool Sea Kayaking

Late May, Sept. and early Oct.
Learn the basic strokes and safety techniques. Pool sessions available
in winter.
Age 10-adult / Event 6208
Afterschool Outdoors and S'mores
Learn great new outdoor skills like how to build a fire, identify plants
and trees, knot making, survival skills, and the basics of orienteering.
Go on a nature hike. Choose the focus and an instructor will fit your
needs.

Afterschool Scarecrow Clinic
Use your creativity and problem solving skills and create your troop's
very own scarecrow. Bring some old clothes to dress your scarecrow.

Leadership and Adventure
Teambuilding
Discuss leadership techniques and work on skills to bring the troop together
as a team. Work on the ropes course to further test your problem solving
abilities.
