Women Soar - You Soar
Held during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the World's Greatest Aviation Celebration, Women Soar - You Soar held on July 28 and 29 will introduce girls in grades 9-12 to exciting career opportunities in aviation. The event also highlights educational resources and inspires girls to explore their potential. Registration for this two-day event is $50 (scholarships are available) and includes meals and student lodging at the nearby University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Contact 800-236-1025 or visit http://www.airventure.org/2007/events/women_soar.html

Youth Advisory Board
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is a team of girls which provides input and leadership in the planning, direction and implementation of programming for girls age 11-17. Apply to become a YAB member and help create cool programs for other girls. YAB meets at least twice throughout the year and uses myspace.com® to post and discuss your girl driven ideas. If you have suggestions or are interested in becoming a member, contact us at events@gsfra.org

Girl Scout destinations
Girl Scout destinations are your source to travel across your state, your country, your globe. A destination is your chance to go somewhere new, do something different, and meet someone from anywhere you can imagine. Do anything from traveling to exotic locations to roughin' it in your backyard to just hangin' with the girls. Click on the link above for more details, applications, forms and helpful hints. While you're there, become a part of the online community to learn more about destinations. You can journey around the corner or around the world!

Girl Scout getaways
Girl Scout getaways are 2-4 day events that are similar to destinations, but do not require the same application. Click the link above for more information on getaways.

There is still time to apply! Submit your application to GSFRA by January 1, 2008. Hurry, while spots are still available!
