Community Service

The Girl Scout program emphasizes citizenship, community service and making the world a better place. Girl Scouts is a community partner and believes service to others is a core human virtue. The Girl Scout experience empowers girls and women to find their voices, take action and make their communities and the world a better place. Many girls participate in our council-wide Be Your Best collection of personal care items to be distributed to emergency shelters and other community sites. Troops and service units organize coat, food, book, and stuffed animal collections for those in need. (Return the Community Service Report Form )
