Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

Welcome to Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area, Inc.

Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls—all girls—where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives—like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

Treats for Troops

Girl Scouts, in partnership with Y100 and the 432nd Civil Affairs Unit, participated in a service project to send Girl Scout Cookies to Wisconsin military stationed overseas. The cookies purchased for Treats for Troops will be shipped on Saturday, April 19. A ceremony will be held at the 432nd Civil Affairs Unit in Green Bay at 2929 Holmgren Way at 12:30 p.m. and will include Congressmen Steve Kagen, LTC Richard Appel and the 432nd Civil Affairs Color Guard along with the Family Readiness Group members and Girl Scouts. All Girl Scouts are invited to attend the ceremony. This event will be covered by every news station from Green Bay to Milwaukee and will be broadcast statewide. Congressmen Kagen will be speaking about this wonderful event and the companies/parties that have helped to ensure success. Park in front of the building and enter through the front door.

We are still looking for sponsors to help with shipping costs of over 4,500 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. Contact Crystal Matuszewski at 920-734-7069, ext. 17 or cmatuszewski@gsfra.org
